Am 27. September 2015 gibt es einen TEDx Salon in der Markthalle Neun in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
TED steht für Technology, Entertainment und Design. Unter diesem Titel und dem Slogan „Ideas Worth Spreading“ führt die Sapling Foundation weltweit Konferenzen durch. TEDx sind unabhängige Konferenzen im Stile von TED und unter kostenloser Lizenz der Sapling Foundation. Die Veranstaltung in der Markhalle Neun heißt „Breaking Ground“.
„Is our region in upheaval? How has the everyday life of the (ecological) food production changed? What are the upsides of close cooperation of compacted metropolitan cities with depopulating rural areas? What meaning does food have in todays society? We want to explore where and how we can positively influence the development and consciousness we have towards food and nature and how to preserve it.“
